We went to the doctor today and you didn't like it too much. You didn't want to get measured, or get your temperature taken, you started to cry as soon as they would start attempting anything. You had 1 vaccine done and you hated that as well. You did calm down pretty quickly though. The doctor didn't have very many concerns about you at all, you are still following your growth chart and seem to be doing well.
Weight: 22 lbs 8 oz - 24%
Height: 32 inches - 62%
Head Circ: 17.5 - 6%
While we were waiting in the room you saw lots of pictures of babies on the wall and you pointed at them and said baby. On one particular picture the baby was wearing a hat and you patted your hat telling me that baby is wearing a hat. As soon as you recognize an object you want to tell us what it is, like ball or baby... the words that you know, everything else sounds like baby talk. Just this week, you learned the word "No", once you start saying it, you don't stop. The way you say it is so adorable, w/a soft "N" sound. Also you started to come up to me and hug my leg. Love that! I think we're finally going to eliminate the bottle, it's time for you to start drinking milk out of a sippy cup, hopefully you will adjust ok, we tried doing this at least two times already and you stopped drinking milk, so I would feel bad and give you the bottle back, hopefully it goes better this time around.
We went to the park and I got to take some pictures of you, we had a lot of fun, you were running away from me, then you found birds and started to run after them and also we saw bunnies and you tried to catch those as well.

18 Months - 1 &1/2 years old!
You are a definitely getting bigger. We'll be going to the doctor in a few days so I'll post your stats when I get them, but I can tell that you're definitely getting heavier.
Your vocabulary is slowly expanding and you repeat more and more words, sometimes I don't really know what they are, but you are definitely trying. The ones that are very easy to tell I am sure I have mentioned before is ball, baby, momma, dadda, shoes, hi, bye, babba, and recently i've heard you say doggy, please and go. You are still signing a bunch too! One funny thing you just started to do in the last week is put a diaper on your dolly, also you've brought out your changing mat, put it on the floor and put one of your stuffed animals on top and proceeded to take out a baby wipe and started wiping the bears body. It was so cute!
You still love to hear the "baby, baby" song before bed... you smile as soon as you hear the melody and now you even know what button to push on the player to start playing the song... little smarty pants. But then of course you decide to start pushing a bunch of others and even take the CD out (happened a few times when I wasn't looking)
Also you love dancing w/your doll or a stuffed animal, you start spining around until you get dizzy and fall down. You love pointing out babies, on anything, baby yogurt has a baby on it, and you point to it and say "baby", or book, or on TV, anywhere you see a baby, you will tell us!

The last few times I left for work, you've started crying and it was really hard to leave. When I pick you up, you look at the nanny and start waiving her good bye... :), you did that to both daddy and I yesterday and it made it so hard for us to leave you because you clearly didn't want us to go.
You are going to start your daycare in less than a month! I am a bit nervous, but I think you're going to do ok... and I think you'll have a lot more fun there then being cooped up at home. It's going to be sad leaving you in a new place, I've gotten so used to having you at home, but I am sure we'll adjust. You will be the youngest child there, and I think you'll start learning new things pretty quickly and picking things up by observing what the older kids are doing. Hopefully you'll be ok with the food, that's one of my main concerns since you're such a picky eater.

Unfortunately I have not had any time to make any decent pictures of you lately. I know... sad! I will try soon and will post them! But here is a funny one of you sitting down and ripping up a bunch of coupons into tiny little pieces! This kept you occupied for at least 15-20 minutes!

Dancing and Dancing
Looks like you are definitely developing a love for dancing. I am so glad we started a music class with you, seems like you have so much fun there and you now recognize the music when I play the CDs at home. It's playing here in the background. Here is your latest move... dancing in circles. After I watched this a few times, I got dizzy too!
